How to Choose the Best Yarn Color for Your Skin/Hair Color
You’ve probably been aware that you “feel better” in some colors than others. Myself, I look ghastly in yellow, while my daughter, Holly, looks absolutely stunning in yellow. So, why the difference?
For our purpose of choosing good yarn colors for ourselves or someone else, we’ll only delve into the basics. Basic color analysis breaks all skin coloring into two main categories—cool or warm.
Here’s an easy test to determine if your coloring leans toward warm or cool colors. Veins that appear a blueish color indicate cool undertones; if they appear greenish, that indicates warm undertones.
Each of those two main categories break into two main subcategories named for the seasons of the year.
